European target: “Net Zero Emissions” by 2050.
Companies that are committed to reaching it as soon as possible, doing their part, are today characterized in positive terms in the eyes of customers and financiers. The new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), in fact, requires disclosure of the level of greenhouse gas emissions in ESG reporting, involving supply or distribution chains. Companies of any size will therefore potentially be required to measure their impact.
The measuring of Scope 1 and 2 emissions will be the first step in becoming aware of one’s environmental impact, providing ready data for the main ESG questionnaires. At the same time, the decarbonisation Roadmap generated will be the best route that, based on the data communicated by your company, could be adopted to make investments that allow a reduction in risk exposure and alignment with European environmental objectives.
